When hanging the squirrel baffle from a tree branch, use a branch hook. Best results are obtained when the baffle is 12" or more lower than the branch and 4' away from the tree trunk.

Bottom of the feeder must be at least 4' from the ground. For hanging feeders, place the squirrel baffle above the feeder, making sure the feeder is placed 8" away from a jumping platform.
